Stress fracture of the ulna is rare. There has only been 1 case affecting the ulna in golf reported in the English literature. We present a further case occurring in a professional golfer. A 17-year-old right-handed female was referred to our clinic with a 10-day history of increased pain of the left ulnar shaft, with no history of previous trauma. She had been a professional golf player for 4 years. Radiograph taken previously at other clinic demonstrated focal periosteal reaction at mid-shaft of the ulnar diaphysis. Repeated radiograph and bone scan confirmed the stress fracture of the ulna. A long arm splint was applied for 5 weeks. A radiograph 4 months following initial presentation confirmed that there was solid union.
